Things to Do in Crystal Beach, Texas
Crystal
beach, Texas is located on the Bolivar Peninsula in Galveston County. Unfortunately, it is an area susceptible to hurricanes, with the possibility of damage quite high. In September 2008, Hurricane Ike devastated Crystal Beach and its surrounding areas and while many things are closed in 2009, some survived and others are rebuilding. There are still several things to do in the area as well as things that are soon to come again. Be sure to call or visit any websites highlighted here to check on their status prior to visiting.
Funtown
Enjoy a day on the lazy river, sliding down a waterslide and soaking in the sun on a lounge chair at Funtown. There are also arcades, go karts, basketball trampolines and even Laser Tag. On the premises, there is a snack bar.
