Cleveland offers fun things to do for all ages, but there are many attractions geared especially toward younger visitors. Among these are the Cleveland Children's Museum, the area's amusement parks and the city's many sporting events.
Visit the Children's Museum of Cleveland

Located in Cleveland's University Circle cultural district, the Children's Museum of Cleveland is designed especially for those one to eight years old. Exhibits include "Splish Splash," an interactive look at water transportation and weather, and "Bridges to the Community," where visitors can push their own grocery cart, bank with play money and pump their own simulated gas.

See Cedar Point

Cedar Point, located about 90 minutes west of Cleveland, has been voted America's favorite amusement park...and for good reason. The venerable park, opened in 1870, boasts 17 roller coasters---from the classic, wooden "Blue Streak" to the latest and fastest coaster, "The Maverick." There are also water rides, a midway, a train through the "Old West" and a wide expanse of Lake Erie beach.

Take in a Game

There's always a sporting event in Cleveland. From the Cleveland Browns football team to the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team to the family-friendly (and affordable) Lake Erie Monsters AHL hockey team, it's a rare weekend that doesn't include at least a Cleveland team home game.
