Things to Do in Boyne Falls
Boyne Falls is a quaint little village located in northwest Michigan. From championship golf courses, incredible wildlife, fantastic fall foliage tours, wonderful restaurants to some of the best skiing this side of the Rockies, there is something for everyone. Named after the falls of the local Boyne River, Boyne Falls is the home to Boyne Mountain
resort, known for superb skiing in the winter, championship golfing in the spring and summer, nine restaurants and Michigan's largest year-round indoor water park, Avalanche Bay.

Summer is a buzz of activity in Boyne Falls. If golf is your game, head over to Boyne Mountain where there are two championship golf courses to test your skills, The Alpine designed by Bill Newcomb and The Monument, designed by Bill Newcomb and Everett Kircher. If you enjoy small town festivals, make sure to check out the Boyne Falls Polish Festival during the month of August. If you get to hot from the summer heat head over to the local beach for some sun or to Avalanche Bay to let your inner child out.

The cool fall days and nights turn the Boyne Falls area into spectacular sight. The hardwoods turn colors of reds, gold and yellow throughout the region. Take one of many color tours in the area, or head over to Boyne Mountain for a beautiful view and a taste of local cuisine at one of its nine restaurants. Want to relax? Solace Spa at Mountain Grand Lodge is the perfect way to unwind.
Winter Activites
It snows quite a bit in Michigan and winter activities are a part of everyday life. From ice fishing and ice skating to snowmobiling and skiing, the Boyne Falls area has it all. The most popular destination in the area is Boyne Mountain. The mountain has been open for more than 60 years and welcomes skiers, snowboarders and tubers. There are a variety of activities, including skiing lessons, horse drawn sleigh rides and dog sleds races along with other activities throughout the year.
