Las Vegas, Nevada may be called Sin City, but it has a lot more to offer than temptation. With more and more families opting to come to Vegas for a holiday, hotels and tour operators are catering to the entire family with vacation opportunities people of all ages will enjoy. Teenagers will love going to Vegas even if they are not allowed on the casino floors.
Walk Around Vegas
One thing every teen will love doing is walking around Vegas. There is so much going on outside the hotels that there is no need to spend even a penny for entertainment. Teenagers can watch people riding the roller coaster on Hotel New York, New York; enjoy the music and flow of the fountains of Hotel Bellagio; and then walk to Hotel Treasure Island to enjoy the free Pirate Show.
Circus Adventure
Teenagers love being thrilled, so make your way over to Circus-Circus. Away from the casino floor, you will find an adventure dome with circus shows, double roller-coaster rides, IMAX simulation theater and a Rim Runner boat ride that has a 60-foot plunge to set your heart racing. This is America's largest indoor theme amusement park, so have a blast.
Hotel Theme Tours
Every hotel on the Vegas strip has a theme, and teenagers will enjoy taking their own personal tour of the hotels while they enjoy the food and shopping. You can spend hours in the Venetian taking a gondola ride or just watching a muse, clown, juggler and other entertainers as you shop. Mandalay Bay offers an aquarium with a number of sharks and fish to attract a teenager's interest, while the MGM has a zoo that has white tigers to fascinate. The other hotels on the strip all offer their own brand of entertainment.
Shows and Tours in Vegas
If the Strip is not enough to hold your teenager's interest, book a tour to see the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, downtown Vegas or even a the Strip at night. You can book helicopter tours, bus tours and SUV tours in and around the Vegas area.
There are always a number of shows that teenagers can watch, from a concert by Celine Dion to the Blue Man show to Broadway's popular plays.
