Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is a area that has numerous attractions that draw millions of visitors each year. A diverse selection of attractions caters to every conceivable interest, and a slew of swimming attractions help keep visitors cool during the hot summer months. From large, professional water parks to local swimming favorites, Pigeon Forge offers some world class swimming opportunities.
Dollywood Splash Country

With almost two dozen water slides and thrill rides, the Pigeon Forge swimming attraction commissioned by Dolly Parton herself offers a massive selection of world class water entertainment. The park offers a selection of both family friendly attractions and child-specific playground areas as well as several family "activities." The park is a professional arrangement of advanced water rides and thrills, but the price reflects the theme park-like atmosphere; expect to pay more than $40 for adults and about ten dollars less for children.

Wilderness at the Smokies

Although not as theme-park styled as Dollywood, Wilderness at the Smokies still has the feel of a world class theme park but without the hefty price tag. The facility features a number of unique water attractions, including an indoor "water dome" that is open year round and the region's only surfing simulator; add in some adrenaline producing water slides, enclosed tubes, poolside cabanas for the adults, and a variety of other attractions for a truly exciting Pigeon Forge swimming destination. As an interesting twist, the facility is adjacent to, and considered to be a part of, a water-themed lodge that offers multi-room suites great for accommodating families and groups.

Ogle's Water Park

Few attractions are more definitive of Pigeon Forge than Ogle's Water Park. An area landmark for decades, the establishment still welcomes thousands of visitors each summer. With ten water slides and a wave pool, no water park is more characteristic of Pigeon Forge than Ogle's. When visiting, expect lower ticket prices than at other area water attractions, but do not expect the park to be continuously available; Ogle's maintains summer hours only and is typically open from June through September.
