Sunset beach is located at the southernmost tip of North Carolina, approximately 130 miles south of the state capital, Raleigh. Sunset Beach is renowned for its expansive white sand beaches and large sand dunes. A 1,300 acre nature reserve is located at nearby Bird Island. The city itself is home to numerous retail centers, golf courses, annual cultural events, and restaurants.

Twin Lakes Seafood Restaurant on Sunset Boulevard has been in continuous operation in Sunset Beach for more than three decades. Feast on appetizers like their Cajun soft shell crab prepared with their homemade seasoning, or one of four different shrimp starters. Entrees include their "Net of Shrimp," which features steamed, grilled, lightly fried and sautéed shrimp all on one plate. Twin Lakes' "Cluster of Crustaceans" is comprised of Carolina blue crab, Alaskan snow crab and soft shell crab all with your choice of sides ranging from baked potato to rice Creole.

Magnolias Lounge

Magnolias Lounge is located in the Jones/Byrd Clubhouse at the Seatrail Golf Club complex. Their expansive lunch menu features "kickin'" chicken wings, fried cheese sticks, the Clubhouse burger with bacon, tomato and lettuce and a variety of deli sandwiches prepared to your liking, including ham, turkey or roast beef.
Magnolias also hosts a breakfast buffet every Sunday morning featuring a wide variety of options like Smithfield Country Ham and buttermilk biscuits with gravy.
