Arizona's Sun City is a popular retirement community first established in 1960.
Legendary developer Del Webb established Sun City, Arizona, in the early 1960s as a community for retirees and senior citizens looking for warm weather all year. The city boomed in the late 20th and early 21st centuries as baby boomers searched for places to settle down in retirement. The town's lush green spaces, clean streets and beautiful homes beckon older residents from around the world. Sun City features golf clubs, community centers and activities attractive to permanent residents and tourists.
Recreation Centers of Sun City

A Privilege Card membership is offered to nonresidents interested in these activities and allows them access to seven community centers, eight golf courses and two bowling alleys within Sun City limits. The organization also offers bus tours of Red Rocks and Mexico to cardholders.
