Beaumont, California is a small city in southern California just one county north of the US-
Mexico border. Originally a railroad city, Beaumont has grown into one of California's apple-growing capitals. Beaumont is popular among some vacationers for its warm climate and quiet, small-town feel. While the city does not offer the breadth of activities and events that some of its larger Californian counterparts have, families with children will still find attractions and events to keep their kids entertained.

The museum offers various activities and tours for children. For example, the Dragons and Friends tour introduces kids to the museum's Asian-themed exhibits, highlighting dragons and other mythological creatures through paintings and hands-on activities. In the summer, take the family on a walk across the museum's 16 acres of lusciously-landscaped gardens.
