Embassy Suites Hotel New York Review

The Embassy Suites Hotel New York
The Embassy Suites Hotel New York
The Embassy Suites, located in New York City's historic Battery Park neighborhood, is a modern and classy hotel that suits the business traveler and the tourist alike. Whether you've got a meeting on Wall Street or you'd like to check out the Statue of Liberty, the Embassy Suites is a well-kept, newly renovated hotel that's chock-full of style and sophistication.
Wows and Woes

The neighborhood surrounding the hotel isn't much for nightlife, but it's bustling during the day. Get your sightseeing in before the sun sets.

Insider Tips

Don't forget to get up for breakfast. Unlike most hotels in New York at this price range, the Embassy Suites offers an elaborate continental breakfast. If that weren't enough of a good deal, the Embassy Suites also offers a free happy hour with snacks, where you can sit and sip cocktails to relax after a busy day of sightseeing or trading stocks.

Author's Most Memorable Moment

Battery Park, a few steps away from the Embassy Suites, features a beautifully landscaped river-lined walkway that leads all the way to the South Street Seaport. I walked all the way to the Seaport, where there is a mall and tons of outdoor shops and restaurants in a pier setting. With all the sun, serenity and river views, I thought I was in a Maine vacation town instead of busy Manhattan.

Bottom Line

The rooms are quiet, clean and affordable. Unlike most hotels in New York, you'll actually get nighttime peace and quiet at the Embassy Suites.
