Ironwood Ranch is on the northwestern point of Maui. The Hawaiian ranch offers horseback riding through lush trails and unspoiled landscape. The ranch prides itself on having well-trained horses that are great for inexperienced riders and children. The ranch also rents its property and gazebo for private parties and weddings. Several two-star hotels are south of the Ironwood Ranch.
Lahaina Inn
Lahaina Inn is a boutique hotel, about a mile from Banyan Tree Park and about 5 miles from Ironwood Ranch. The inn features concierge services, and free coffee and newspapers in the lobby. Wireless Internet access is available in the public areas. The inn has 10 guest rooms, each with a balcony, in-room safe and air conditioning. The hotel does not have dining facilities but is within easy walking distance of several restaurants.

Kaanapali Ocean Inn
Kaanapali Ocean Inn is less than 5 miles from Ironwood Ranch and is near Kaanapali beach. The two-story hotel has a poolside lounge, where tiki torches illuminate the evening sky. The hotel also features a classic Hawaiian tiki bar and The Royal Ocean Terrace, a restaurant where guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor dinning, a buffet breakfast, and a la carte lunch and dinner menus. Each guest room, which has a balcony, includes air conditioning, refrigerator and coffeemaker.

Aston Paki Maui
Aston Paki Maui, formerly known as ResortQuest, is on the West Maui reef in Kaanapali and about 5 miles from Ironwood Ranch. This condo resort consists of three low-rise buildings that circle a tropical courtyard, with benches and a koi pond. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood with an ocean view. Guests can enjoy a small pool, spa tub and an open-air pavilion for barbecues. A partner hotel a quarter-mile away provides Aston Paki Maui's guests with a fitness center and supervised children's programs. The resort does not have a restaurant, but there are some nearby.
This resort has condo suites with exterior entrances. Suites have ceiling fans but no air conditioning. The decor is island style. The condos have kitchens equipped with dishwashers, refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, coffeemakers, cookware and dinnerware. The TV has cable programming and a DVD and VHS player. There is also an in-room safe and high-speed Internet access.
