Spring break is one of the most exciting times for college/university students. After all, it is the one week during the spring semester (in March) that students can leave all their educational stress behind and just have some relaxing fun. For students in Michigan (or who simply plan to be in Michigan for spring break), there are a lot of fun activities and things to see during that week.
Parasailing
A great place to go parasailing is Traverse Bay in Traverse City. If you want to experience an adrenaline rush and breathtaking, aerial panoramic views of the world down below (and shimmering, clear blue waters), then a good company to consider using is Traverse Bay Parasail. No prior experience is necessary for parasailing with Traverse Bay Parasail.

Isle Royale National Park is in Houghton, and is a beautiful example of Michigan's stunning wilderness. From the wilds of the forest, to moose and wolves, you never know just what you'll come across at this park. This is a good spring break activity if you are interested in hiking, viewing wildlife, exploring shipwrecks, camping (there are thirty-six campgrounds) and boating. For the outdoorsy at heart, Isle Royale National Park couldn't be any better. You can only get to the park by seaplane or boat.

Keweenaw National Historic Park
Keweenaw National Historic Park is in both Calumet and Quincy, separated by two miles. This historical site is a natural paradise. The park has a history going back 7,000 years of Native peoples mining copper. The copper was then used for the production of tools. There are various heritage sites within this park, such as gold mines. This is a quaint and fascinating look at both Native and copper mining history.
