Spokane is located in eastern Washington state, along the border with Idaho. The city has a population of about 200,000 people, making it the second biggest city in the state. Many visitors use Spokane as a hub to visit the surrounding area for outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking and biking. Spokane also has a bustling arts and restaurant scene, as well as hotels that visitors can enjoy.
Davenport Hotel
The Davenport Hotel is the only hotel in Spokane that has a AAA rating of 4 diamonds. Though the hotel is steeped with history it had been closed since 1985 until a recent $38 million project resurrected the place. After reopening in 2002, this lavish hotel now offers rooms and suites featuring luxury bedding and marble bathrooms. The hotel is also home to the Palm Court Grill, a restaurant famous for its prime rib and wine list. An average room here costs $200 a night.
