Six Flags Over Texas is a theme park that is owned by the Six Flags franchise which allows season pass holders to use their passes at fifteen other parks around the country. The park is located between
Dallas and Fort Worth in Arlington, Texas.
Tickets
As of 2009, season passes cost $85, but if you purchase four or more the price drops to $75. A day pass is $31.
Rides
Titan is the tallest and fastest roller coast in Texas as of 2009. Other thrilling coasters include Batman the Ride, Mr. Freeze and Texas Giant.
Glow in the Park Parade
The Glow in the Park Parade features neon-lit floats, Cirque Du Soleil style music and choreographed performances. The parade takes place each night.
Concerts
Six Flags Over Texas has a "Live and Local" event every day the park is open featuring local bands. They also have larger concerts for well-known performers. The 2009 lineup included Jesse McCartney, Kirk Franklin and Metro Station.
Calender
The park is open every day from mid-May to mid-August. From the end of August through New Years, it is open most weekends and holidays. It is also open most weekends and holidays from March til mid-May.
