Sheraton on the Falls Review

Night View of Niagara Falls
Night View of Niagara Falls
The Sheraton on the Falls at Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada has 670 rooms. Room amenities include coffee makers, an iron and ironing board, a wet bar and hairdryer. Some rooms have turndown service and a fireplace. The hotel charges for Internet access, parking and use of the fitness center. The Fallsview Restaurant has a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a Starbucks, piano lounge and indoor water park.
Wows and Woes

Wows: Rooms facing Niagara Falls have a beautiful view.

Woes: There are long waits for elevators. The water park prices are very high. The hotel smells musky. The indoor pool is too small and always crowded.

Insider Tips

Request a room with a view of the falls. Make sure to call the hotel in advance to check your reservation. Once you get there, ask to see your room before checking into it. The buffet is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., but the food is better at The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, which also has a view of the falls.

Author's Most Memorable Moment

I always wanted to see Niagara Falls, so I set aside a weekend to go. I booked my reservation online. When I arrived, I was shocked that I had to wait more than an hour to check in because there were so many people in line. Once I got to my room, I was kept awake all night by the noise from the hall and adjoining rooms. I do not recommend this hotel.

Bottom Line

The Sheraton on the Falls Hotel does not live up to the Sheraton name. The front desk services are poor, and many rooms do not even have windows.
