About San Fransicso Tourism

Visitors come to San Francisco from all over the world for many reasons. One of San Francisco's draws for tourists are the different attractions and activities the city offers.
The Golden Gate Bridge

This orange bridge has long been one of the most iconic sights in America. Locals and visitors alike take it in from Golden Gate Park, which also offers a museum and a Japanese Garden.

Cable Cars

One of the oldest still-running public transports in America, these recognizable red trolleys still maintain three active routes throughout the heart of San Francisco.

Fisherman's Wharf

Fisherman's Wharf is still an active, vibrant working community, and you can see still see fisherman bringing in their catches. The wharf also offers restaurants, many with views, hotels, shopping, and local sea lions.

Ghirardelli Square

This historic shopping square, named for the famous chocolate still made here, features several boutique shops, but the primary attraction is the Ghirardelli shop, featuring original chocolate-making equipment, still in action.

Grace Cathedral

Located in San Francisco's Nob Hill district, this beautiful church was built following the 1906 earthquake. The interior features stained glass windows and murals depicting San Francisco's history.

Farallon Restaurant

A truly unique dining experience, Farallon has a dining room that is right out of Jules Verne. With curved surfaces, portholes, and custom decor such as jellyfish light fixtures, diners feel like they're dining on the bottom of the sea.
