Things to Do at the Red Rock Casino Resort in Las Vegas
The Red Rock Casino,
resort and Spa is an expansive complex located a short drive northwest of the
Las Vegas Strip. While visitors may have reservations about spending a significant amount of time in one place during a Vegas vacation, this resort will not disappoint. With so much to do and see in the complex, you can easily spend a weekend there without ever missing the Strip.
See a Movie
If you get tired of the bright lights and chiming slot machines, take a break and go see a movie. Located right on the property is a 16-screen cinema complex. Equipped with stadium seating, IMAX features and even a party room for group celebrations, the cinema can provide entertainment for the whole family. Matinee, senior and child ticket discounts are all available.
Go Bowling
If you are looking for a fun group activity away from the poker table, try a competitive game of bowling with your friends. It is a large complex with 72 lanes: you can enjoy a standard game, cosmic bowling and celebrate any occasion with an organized party. Food and drinks are nearby at the Deli Snack bar. If a few in your group are not into bowling, there is still a lounge available with bar-top games for their entertainment. Red Rock Lanes is open from 8:00 am until 2:00 am during the week and 24 hours on the weekends.
Experience a Spa Adventure
If you are looking to pamper yourself, then the Red Rock Spa is the perfect place. You can enjoy a long list of salon and spa treatments in a beautifully decorated, modern atmosphere. Prices start near $30 for basic nail treatments and go up to $200 and beyond for facials and massages. For the more courageous and those looking for a new experience, the Red Rock also offers an Adventure Spa. You can pick from several excursions, including a guided hike of the nearby Red Rock Canyon or an early expedition on a Sunrise Horseback Ride.
Try Cabo Mexican Restaurant
The resort offers a variety of casual and upscale restaurant options with lower prices than those on the strip. Cabo Mexican Restaurant serves delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. The menu boasts plenty of combination options in case you have trouble deciding between all their entrees. Be sure to start your meal with the nachos and get a house margarita for a wonderful compliment to your spicy, southwest main course.
Enjoy an Evening in Rocks Lounge or Cherry Night Club
You can enjoy a cocktail with a modern flair in the comfortable atmosphere of Rocks Lounge. Sit with friends for an evening of conversation or stop by on a night when live music is being featured. If you want a little more energy and action, head over to Cherry Nightclub. Here you can take part in a night of dancing while enjoying your favorite drinks. This cutting-edge club also features a private outdoor area near the pool.
