2 Star Hotels Near the Gateway Riverboat Cruises in St. Louis, MO
Located on the
St. Louis Levee and at the foot of the Arch, Gateway Riverboat
cruises offer hour long scenic tours of the Mississippi River. Its two boats, The Tom Sawyer and The Becky Thatcher, are replicas of 19th century paddle wheelers. Gateway Riverboat Cruises also offers evening dinner cruises and private charter cruises. The boats have deck seating as well as climate controlled indoor areas and sell snacks and beverages. There are many hotels located in downtown St. Louis close to Gateway Riverboat Cruises and the Gateway Arch National Monument. Only a few of these hotels have the more affordable 2-star rating.

This budget hotel is small with only 48 rooms. But it is located four blocks from the riverfront. It is about 3/4 of a mile from Gateway Cruises if you walk the scenic cobblestone landing. The hotel is pet-friendly, with both indoor and outdoor parking, free coffee, free high speed Internet and free cable. It is a motor lodge style hotel.

Pear Tree Inn Union Station by Drury
This hotel is a little further away from the riverfront (one mile) but is still in downtown St. Louis. It is a half block from Union Station, a popular train station turned mall with a range of dining options, from Hard Rock Cafe to Quizno's subs.
