Located just off of Interstate 35, the Oklahoma City Travelodge offers a simple, but cost-efficient, stay for guests. The hotel features an outdoor pool, on-site laundry and continental breakfast. The hotel also offers a "sleepy bear's den" kids room for traveling families. The room includes kids' chairs, bedspreads and decorations. The rooms also come with a mini-fridge.
Wows and Woes

Wows: The hotel staff was very friendly. They were proactive and clearly knew the area and attractions around the hotel.

Woes: The coffeemaker and remote control for the TV were both broken upon arrival.

Insider Tips

If you're traveling with children, the sleepy bear's den is the perfect way to go. Traveling with kids can often be a hassle, and the Travelodge's family-friendly rooms make it that much easier.

Author's Most Memorable Moment

The front desk staff recommended that I go to the Oklahoma City Zoo. I didn't realize that the zoo was just a short drive from the hotel, but it turned out to be the perfect way to spend the afternoon.

Bottom Line

The hotel does not have a lot of amenities, but the reasonable rates make the stay worthwhile.
