Orange Lake
Orange Lake
resort offers timeshare villa options for travelers visiting the
Orlando, Florida, area. With villas ranging from studios and suites to three-bedroom villas, the resort is sure to meet the needs of any vacation traveler. While the surrounding area offers much to do, the resort also has its own pool area, mini-golfing, basketball courts, gyms and spas. Between the recreation and the 12 bars and restaurants on site, you'll have little reason to even leave the resort during your stay in Orlando.
Wows and Woes
Wows: There's so much to do that you won't need to venture into the crowded city for some fun. For timeshare holders, switching to a different week in the year is easy.
Woes: During the summer months, it gets crowded. Some villas have been renovated; others are very outdated.
Insider Tips
For families staying at Orange Lake, take advantage of the grocery delivery service. The grocery prices are comparable to items in the grocery store, and you'll save tons of money by eating in. Orange Lake will allow you to pre-order your groceries so that they're waiting for you, all put away, before you even arrive. It only charges a small fee to have your groceries delivered.
Author's Most Memorable Moment
After one day in Disneyworld with a 2-year-old (and several older children), we realized that spending an entire week at the parks was going to be a challenge. Orange Lake hooked us up with a licensed, insured caregiver to follow us around the park, taking care of the little one. We were able to enjoy the parks as a family but still have some independence to spend time with the older ones.
Bottom Line
There are many timeshare villas to choose from in the Orlando area, but Orange Lake takes the extra step to be one of the best.
