View of the Ocean Front Rooms
The Landmark resort
boasts its own river, Olympic-size pool and Jacuzzi. These are great, comfortable water attractions that can be used year-round and a wonderful alternative should a Myrtle beach
thunderstorm arrive to ruin your beach day. The hotel also has a 9-hole mini golf course, which offers a family-friendly entertainment option.
Wows and Woes
Room service is a waste of money. Food isn't worth the price. Order a pie from Ultimate California Pizza instead.
Lazy River also has a Kiddie Lazy River. It's just as fun, especially with toddlers.
Pillows and sheets aren't the highest of thread counts, so bring an extra of each.
Try parking as close to the covered cross-walk as possible. The elevators tend to be slow. You'll do more shopping in Myrtle Beach than you might anticipate.
You can have just as much fun getting a corner room with a slight view of the ocean versus a complete ocean view. You'll still get a balcony and a nice breeze.
Most Memorable Moment
Taking my kids to the various water attractions, like the adult and kiddie lazy rivers as well as the hot tubs. They couldn't get enough of the water and really didn't want to go to the beach when all the fun was downstairs.
If you plan to take a family with young kids to Myrtle Beach, the Landmark is the perfect destination.
