Review of the Hampton Inn Rochester

The Hampton Inn Rochester in upstate New York is a basic, no-frills hotel with comfortable "Cloud Nine" beds and a choice of down or foam pillows. There is free Wi-Fi and free hot breakfast. There is also a small gym, and you can get passes to a nearby Bally's gym if you want a more extensive workout.
Wows and Woes

During the week, you can get a free "On the Run" breakfast bag if you don't have time to sit down for breakfast.
The free coffee at breakfast is weak.

Insider Tips

Bring comfortable walking/running shoes; the hotel is near the Erie Canal towpath, a great place to run or walk.

Bottom Line

You get a decent room for a great price and no hidden surcharges.
