Review for the Chesterfield Hotel in Miami, Florida

The Chesterfield is an affordable, Art Deco boutique hotel owned by the South beach Group. Situated on Collins Avenue, it is a block from the beach and located in a vibrant section of South Beach. Enjoy beachfront dining a block away, local and international shopping, a convenience store and deli around the corner, night clubs and the beach. Stay in one of 90 rooms and drop in for pampering at the day spa.
Wows and Woes

The beautiful rooms of this small, intimate hotel are decorated carefully in Art Deco style. Enjoy a luxury bathroom with a rain shower and a flat screen TV from a comfy bed. Each room is fully stocked with beverages and snacks.

Parking is at a premium on this part of South Beach. You can park in the city parking a couple of blocks away, or pay about $30 daily for valet parking. Be prepared to wait for up to an hour for your vehicle to be retrieved by the valet service from off-site parking.

Insider Tips

The intimate lobby is lounge-worthy with lots of leather furniture. Happy hour at the lobby's combo bar is a feature that attracts guests and visitors off the street. The bar staff is very friendly, inviting you to stay in if you are not up for South Beach's all-night party scene. Breakfast at the bar is also available and prepared on site.

Author's Most Memorable Moment

I was so happy with our stay because the location was perfect. My visit to this bustling property in colorful South Beach felt like a four-star vacation. I will go back and try other properties owned by the South Beach Group and expect more superior hospitality and catering to the needs of families with young children.

Bottom Line

Your previous hotel expectations will be raised, you cannot run out of things to do, and this experience will turn you into a South Beach lover.
