SoHo is the artistic center of
New York City located in the southern part of Manhattan. The area has a wide variety of eclectic dining, shopping, and hotels to fill the spectrum. Some of the most famous and exceptional restaurants are found in SoHo. Part of getting to know a city is getting to know the best cuisine and SoHo is no exception.
Seek Out Celebrities
If you've seen "Sex and the City," you know Balthazar. This is certainly a celebrity hangout. It's well known but also worth the trip. The restaurant specializes in rustic French bistro cuisine. Try the duck Shepard's pie or the authentic croque madame. While the restaurant can be a bit pricey with entrees at brunch starting at around $15, you can go to the bakery and order a sandwich to go for a fraction of the price.
