Enjoy the beautiful Connecticut scenery in Shelton.
Shelton, Connecticut, is a small town on the banks of the Housatonic River in Fairfield County. Shelton is about 50 miles from
New York City. Visitors will find historical buildings from the 1800s that have been restored to the way they looked the day they were built. The Shelton Historical Society operates five of the buildings as a museum for the town's history. The museum shows visitors what New England life was like during the 19th century. Shelton restaurants offer something for everyone, from pubs to traditional American diners to elegant restaurants for more formal meals, all with the friendliness of small-town America.
