Nyack is a village in Rockland County,
New York, situated on the western shore of the Hudson river. It is just on the other side of the New York State Thruway from Blauvelt State Park, which is 590 acres of undeveloped forest where the only access is by hiking trails. The restaurants in Nyack give you the choice of dining on the river or in a historic building in the center of the village. They all have their own distinctive menus and they all offer a substantial and satisfying meal to those who have spent the day in the forest or on the river.
