Visitors to Northvale will find a selection of quality restaurants from which to choose.
Northvale, New Jersey, located just about 30 miles north of
New York City, is home to many commuters who want to relax outside the Big Apple. Residents in Northvale enjoy a small-town atmosphere as well as proximity to several parks and golf courses. The majority of the main businesses and eateries in Northvale are located along Livingston Street. The restaurant choices in the city provide a little something for everyone, with a selection of local restaurants offering international cuisines.
Madeleine's Petit Paris
First established in Northvale in 2000, Madeleine's Petit Paris is one of the more upscale restaurants in Northvale, once earning the title of "best French Restaurant in New Jersey" from Zagat while located earlier in Bergenfield, New Jersey, as Chez Madeleine. Chef Gaspard Caloz focuses on authentic French cuisine while his wife, for whom the restaurant is named, manages the dining room. Prix fixe menus are available, or guests can choose from the full menu offered at each meal. For dinner, expect traditional dishes like escargot and duck confit alongside dishes like pork tenderloin with calvados and apples or Black Angus steak with a cognac glaze. A extensive wine list is also available, featuring drinks from a variety of countries, including South Africa and New Zealand. The charming French countryside decor and friendly service add to the amazing food offerings at Madeleine's.
