Ellicottville is a small town in Upstate
New York with a wide variety of restaurants. Located near more than five state parks, Ellicotville is a busy tourist town during the summer. Since it is located near the State University of New York--Fredonia, the majority of the local restaurants are low to moderately priced, and have a decent regular patronage.
Ellicottville Brewing Company
Ellicottville Brewing Company is such a terrific restaurant that there are actually two different locations. The original EBC is in Ellicottville, and is now known as the East location. The West location is located in Fredonia, right near the college campus. Diners can choose from a wide variety of food, from comfort foods to gourmet cuisine. The portions are enormous, the food is delicious and the prices are fantastic. Plus, fresh beer is brewed at both locations, so indulge in a pint whether you are there for lunch or dinner.

Dina's Restaurant
In the heart of the Ellicottville resort area lies Dina's Restaurant. This cozy restaurant is a terrific choice for the health-conscious diner. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Dina's makes all of its food to order and uses as much fresh local ingredients as it can. The breakfast menu is filled with outstanding omelets, using delicious combinations such as spinach, bacon and Swiss cheese. Even if you went to Dina's for breakfast every day for a month, you wouldn't get bored with the menu. The lunch and dinner menus have just as grand a variety as the breakfast menu. Dina's at the Mont, which is a second location of Dina's, is available for catering private parties. The food will impress even the pickiest of guests.

Fosters Pub
When you step into Fosters Pub in Ellicottville, you will feel as though you just entered a real Irish pub outside of Dublin. Open for lunch and dinner, Fosters Pub offers traditional Irish food such as potato soup, pork chops, and fish and chips. Plus, Fosters is one of the only pubs in town that offers Guinness on tap. You know that you have found a good restaurant when it is filled with locals, and Fosters is definitely a favorite among the "townies". The atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable, and can definitely get a bit rowdy on game nights. If you are looking for a place that doesn't tailor itself to tourists and want a flavor of Ellicottville, Fosters Pub should definitely be on your list.
