Keene Valley,
New York is known for its lush mountains and majestic views along the town of Lake Placid. The area is a popular tourist draw and known for its fresh seafood and cuisine. There are a number of dining establishments in the area.
The Noon Mark Diner
The Noon Mark Diner is located just off of Route 73 and is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. for three meals a day, seven days a week. The breakfast menu consists of several varieties of eggs, pancakes, waffles and French toast along with homemade pastries, such as donuts, muffins and cinnamon rolls. The lunch menu consists of traditional American favorites, such as burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs. There are also several homemade soups and salads, made from locally grown produce. Homemade dinner entrees include lasagna as well as a broccoli quiche. Many of the Noon Mark Diner's deserts are homemade as well, such as the pies, brownies and cakes. In addition to dine-in and take-out services, The Noon Mark Diner is also available for catering as well.

The View
The View is a fine dining restaurant located at the Mirror Lake Inn resort and Spa, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week. The lunch and dinner menu focuses on Gulf coast favorites, such as smoked salmon, baked oysters and crab salad, but also offers several steak, lamb chop, and pasta plates as well. Breakfast options include homemade granola, breakfast sandwiches, waffles and omelets. The View has large cottage onsite, for private parties, and is the site of an annual food and wine festival every April.

Boat House Restaurant
The Boat House Restaurant is an intimate dinner restaurant at the Crowne Plaza hotel, which sits directly on Mirror. The Boat House also over looks the Mackenzie Mountain Range, has fireside seating, as well as a full bar. Dinner options include many locally caught seafood options, as well as steaks, soups and salads. Other more eclectic options include homemade jambalaya and Wiener Schnitzel. The boat house also has a private dining room for small parties and functions.
