Walt Disney World's Pop Century
resort is near Disney World's Wide World of Sports area in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. According to Walt Disney World, the resort features "giant icons that salute many of the 20th-century popular culture crazes---including toys, gadgets, music, movies, fads and catchphrases."
Resort Theme
The Disney World Pop Century Resort consists of 10 four-story buildings. Each brightly colored building is decorated with pop culture memories from the 1950s, '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s.
Rooms
Disney World's Pop Century Resort has 2,880 rooms available. Prices begin at $82 per night. Rooms sleep up to four people, and location requests are accepted.
Transportation
The Pop Century Resort provides free transportation to and from Orlando International Airport. The resort also offers free transportation to all of Disney World's theme parks.
Activites
The resort has three swimming pools and a water fountain play area called the Goofy Kiddie Spray Area. There is also a 1.38-mile trail available for jogging or walking, along with an arcade, playground and shops.
Dining
Everything Pop food court and Classic Concoctions are the two food outlets at the Pop Century Resort. If you don't want to venture out, pizza can be delivered to your room.
