The seaport of Pensacola located in Pensacola Bay, Fla., is well known for beautiful white sand
beaches that stretch for 50 miles, and for over 450 years of history as America's original "First Settlement." The
beach-side community has a plethora of outdoor attractions in the area, as well as many fine cultural activities and restaurants of diverse cuisines. Japanese cuisine and sushi are popular in Pensacola, and are often inclusive dishes found in Chinese and fusion restaurants featuring diverse Asian menus.
Yamato Oriental Cuisine
Yamato Oriental Cuisine offers a full Asian dining experience with sushi bar, hibachi cooking and a tatami room. Asian cuisine is a combination of Japanese and Chinese menus including sushi and hibachi grill. The restaurant is open for lunch Monday through Friday and dinner seven nights a week. The full menu begins with a combination of Japanese and Chinese appetizers such as egg rolls, Chinese barbecue ribs, dumplings, fried banana and wantons. All Chinese dinners include Yamato soup, rice and choice of salad. Some of the Chinese entrees include cashew chicken, fried shrimp, chow mein and Mongolian beef. Side orders feature various types of fried rice and wanton soup.

Hunan Chinese Restaurant
Hunan Chinese Restaurant is a Chinese and Japanese restaurant located in the East Hill area of Pensacola. Hunan was voted the "Best Chinese Restaurant 2009" in Best of the Coast Independent News. The licensed restaurant is open daily for a la carte lunch and dinner, but also offers a sushi bar, grill, noodle bar and full line buffet of over 150 items. Take-out, delivery, banquet and catering services are all available. Entertainment includes weekend karaoke in the lounge. The full course a la carte menu includes individual dishes of appetizers, entrees and desserts as well as all-inclusive family dinner options. The menu has a variety of appetizers and soups such as sesame balls, flaming pu pu for two, and hot and sour soup. A few of the house specialties are the Hunan two step, kung po triple delight and pan-fried fish.

H2O Cajun Asian Grill
H2O Cajun Asian Grill is a Pan-Asian fusion restaurant located at the Hilton's Pensacola Beach Gulf Front. The fusion restaurant serves lunch and dinner in the dining room as well as a brunch buffet on Sundays. The private Skye Room can accommodate up to 14 persons--reservations are required. Pensacola celebrity Chef Dan Dunn blends seafood with the roots of Cajun and Asian cuisine into a culinary fusion. Sushi is served every evening with exotic rolls like the bonsai eel and spicy tako (tobiko and octopus rolls). Asian-inspired dishes such as fried calamari, satay of filet mignon, sesame-crusted ahi over wantons are joined with Cajun dishes like the voodoo pasta and Louisiana gumbo.
