There are active nudist communities in almost every state in the
United States, with varying degrees of visibility and promotion. While it's relatively easy to get a listing of nudist communities over the Internet, as a stranger from out of state, you'll need to rely on your own instincts and common sense to evaluate whether or not the community you've chosen is safe for you. Be aware that when searching through nudism-related websites, you may encounter nude photos with no warning or adult filter.

Check the listing of nude communities and resorts at Nudist Escapes. From camping to golf, there's something for everybody in the buff.
Step 3
Look at the American Association for Nude Recreation Midwest Region's homepage, which lists member communities in Michigan. Going through a well-established organization like this may help enhance your confidence that the community you locate has a good reputation.
Step 4
Get a listing of nudist communities in Michigan from the Naturist Society's Naturist Network.
