The Wings Over
Houston Airshow will be celebrating its 25th anniversary, featuring the US Navy's Blue Angels from October 31 to November 1, 2009, at the Ellington Airport. An annual event, the airshow draws big crowds, so you'll want to book your hotel stay early. Listed below are three star hotel options that won't break the bank and will make you feel at home.
Extended Stay Deluxe Houston--NASA--Bay Area Boulevard
Rates for a studio start as low at $99 during the airshow. Studios come with a kitchenette, living room, a DVD player, free phone calls, voice mail, an iron and ironing board. Also included are all utensils and dishware, a swimming pool, an on-site washer and dryer, and a fitness center.
Internet access cost $4.99 per stay and a continental breakfast is served during the week. One pet per room is allowed for a fee of $25 per day, and children under 17 can stay for free (if with an adult in the same room).

The rates during the Wings Over Houston Airshow start at $135 per night but your money will get you a lot of comfort--amenities like a refrigerator, free Internet access, phones with voice mail, a coffeemaker, iron, and hair dryer. The Residence Inn Clear Lake is a great option if you're looking for a home away from home. Their rates during the Wings Over Houston Airshow start at $109 per night. In each suite there is a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove, coffeemaker, refrigerator, utensils, dishes, glasses, bar stools and a counter. The suite also has a living room area with a television, desk, and free wireless Internet access.
A full buffet breakfast is included in the rate. Breakfast options include cereal, freshly made waffles, eggs, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, juice, tea and coffee.
