The Menger Hotel
The legendary Menger Hotel has hosted many historical celebrities. Oscar Wilde, Ulysses S. Grant and Sarah Bernhardt were guests, and there's a story that Robert E. Lee rode his horse through the hotel. The original hotel, built in 1859, was renovated and additions were built. Now the Menger Hotel takes up a whole city block.
