4 Star Hotels Near Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans
The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas is the most popular family attraction in New Orleans, and an average of 900,000 visitors enjoy the Aquarium each year. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, many fish and animals were lost. Surviving creatures were moved to other aquariums while the Audubon facility was restored. Aquariums from all over the country helped replace the lost fish. Now, the Aquarium of the Americas is back in all its glory. Visitors from around the world can enjoy many exhibits, including the beloved African and Rockhopper penguins, the sea otters (Buck and Emma), stingrays, an entertaining variety of frogs and more. A good rest will be important after a long day of aquatic exploration, and there are several four star hotels not far from the Aquarium.
