Myrtle
beach, South Carolina, is jammed with tourists between Memorial Day and Labor Day and is still quite popular in the spring and fall months. If, however, you would like to enjoy quiet walks on the beach and a town that is half-asleep, then visit Myrtle Beach during the winter. While many things are closed during the off-season, there are fortunately many other places for you to still enjoy.

IMAX 3D Theatre
If you have never seen an IMAX movie before, you will have your chance in Myrtle Beach. You will experience crystal-clear movies on a gigantic screen in a 400-person stadium-seating auditorium. Examples of IMAX movies are "Dinosaurs Alive 3D," "Space Station 3D" and "NASCAR: The IMAX Experience 2D/3D."
