North Myrtle Beach Summer Recreation Activities
If you planning a family trip to North Myrtle
beach in South Carolina, there are plenty of things to do that everyone in your group will love. You can spend time in the water, go shopping, or play some sports. Regardless of what you choose, you are sure to have a lot of fun in this beach community.
Family Kingdom Oceanfront Water Park
Nothing beats careening down a twisting water slide. To add to this excitement, the Family Kingdom Oceanfront Water Park is the only water slide destination in North Myrtle Beach to be placed right next to the ocean waterfront. There's something for everyone with their lazy river, thrilling intense slides, and a children's play area. The whole family can enjoy the park. At this water park, you are just a short walk away from the beautiful sand beaches that make North Myrtle Beach so special and the perfect summer vacation destination.
Barefoot Landing
A great place to spend the entire day in North Myrtle Beach is the Barefoot Landing. This shopping center and boardwalk has a real feeling of an old time fishing village. You can get a taste of what it was like to live here so long ago. Not only that, there is a lot of shopping to do and restaurants at which to eat. You can spend your time finding souvenirs at Alligator Adventure Outpost and have dinner at The House of Blues. They even have entertainment at the Barefoot Landing, such as the Ghosts and Legends Theater or the MirrorMaze.
Jungle Lagoon Mini Golf
The Jungle Lagoon Mini Golf course is a great way to spend time with your entire family while you are in North Myrtle Beach. Unlike most miniature golf courses, this place is far from boring. Instead of flat terrain, the holes have rises and valleys that add a bit of fun and difficulty to the game. You will also traverse by waterfalls and through caves in order to complete either of the two 18-hole courses.
