Visitors to the Pittsburgh metro area should consider day trips to nearby Monroeville, Pennsylvania. This small community is home to historical attractions, special events and shops without the traffic of a major city.
Monroeville Mall
Monroeville Mall features 180 retail outlets anchored by JCPenney and Macy's. The mall hosts back-to-school, holiday and summer events for the entire family.
Alpine Park
Alpine Park in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, is home to a half-mile hiking trail built as part of an Eagle Scout project.
McGinley House
