California offers diversity in its attractions and scenic terrains. Within hours a traveler can go from a sunny ocean

Located in the state's capitol, the Ramada Inn and Plaza, Harbor Conference Center is a full service hotel that was renovated in 2007. The four-storied facility includes the Ship Bar and Bistro, fitness center, outdoor pool and sauna. Guests receive a complimentary breakfast buffet and a welcome drink. The inn has 137 rooms, and allows dogs under 40 pounds, with a $25 per night pet charge.

Initially opened in 1913 as the Saint James Hotel, the restored inn has 99 rooms and suites, many with views of the bay. The facility includes an impressive presidential sweet which boasts 1,300 square feet of living space. Pets are not allowed.

Located across the street from California's Disneyland is Ramada Maingate. Its concierge service will assist with ticket and tour purchases. Hollywood
Ramada Hollywood is a 100 percent smoke free inn. Located close to Los Angeles attractions, including Universal Studios, the inn offers a complimentary hot buffet breakfast, free wireless Internet, swimming pool and fitness center. All rooms have a microwave, coffee pot and small refrigerator. It accepts dogs and cats under 50 pounds with a $35 per day pet fee. Ramada Hollywood is located a half a block from the Metro Redline Subway station.
