Gray Line Bus Sightseeing in
New York provides a variety of tour options for people visiting the city. Packages run as low as $35 per person. The bus line offers short tours and several packages that last a day or more. Some packages include seeing the city by land and by water.
The Classic New York Double Decker Bus Tour
The 48-hour Gray Line Bus Sightseeing Tour, the most popular package offered, takes visitors to Times Square, the Empire State Building, the Theater District, the South Street Seaport Museum, Battery Park and the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, which passengers can reach by ferry. The bus sightseeing tour is divided into four loops: Downtown, Uptown, Night and Brooklyn. The tour, for adults and children, is available year round, except December 25 and January 1.
Freestyle New York
The Freestyle New York Sightseeing Tour takes place on one of Gray Line's four double-decker buses. The 48-hour tour is divided into four loops---Downtown, Uptown, Night and Brooklyn. Each loop is 3 to 4 hours long and lets passengers get on and off any of the buses at more than 50 stops across Manhattan and Brooklyn. Passengers can choose the sights they want to see, including the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Times Square and the Empire State Building. Visitors also can see the Botanic Gardens, the Brooklyn Museum, the Antique Furniture District, Fulton Mall and The Tribute WTC Visitor Center.
All Loops Tour with NYC Ducks
This Gray Line Bus tour is divided into two sections: Monday through Wednesday and Thursday through Sunday. It includes tours by land and water. The land experience includes a double-decker bus tour. Once passengers have seen the city by land, they board an NYC Duck (boat) at Times Square and see the city from a different point of view.
Land and Sea
The Land and Sea package combines the All Loops Tour on a double-decker bus with a 90-minute New York Waterways cruise. On the water, passengers ride a high-speed catamaran, seeing sites such as New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, the South Street Seaport, Brooklyn Bridge and the United Nations.
