A Las Vegas Tourist Guide
A Las Vegas Tourist Guide
Las Vegas is a city filled with casinos, entertainment venues and other attractions for visitors from around the world. Travelers to Las Vegas who have not planned their trips carefully are bewildered by the bright lights and abundance of things to do in the city. The typical tourist should try to create an itinerary that explores all that Las Vegas has to offer aside from slot machines, poker and Keno.
Las Vegas 51s

The Las Vegas 51s play as the Triple A team for the Toronto Blue Jays from early June to early September every year. The team plays its home games at Cashman Stadium, a 9,334-seat park with relatively new concessions and souvenir stands. The 51s encourage higher attendance with promotional events such as Dollar Beer Night and 51s T-Shirt Night. Travelers in Las Vegas on the Fourth of July can head to Cashman Stadium to see fireworks shows sponsored by local businesses.

The Lied Discovery Children's Museum is an affordable attraction for families traveling in Las Vegas. Kids can learn about proper nutrition and eating habits by going through the interactive It's Your Choice exhibit. The Hoop Vision exhibit shows the mechanics of sight to children by asking visitors to wear vision-altering goggles while shooting basketballs at a hoop. Kids can learn about geology, mining and teamwork by extracting foam builders from a fake mountainside at Boulder Mountain.
