If you are looking for kids activities in New Jersey, you won't have to look far. There are several things you can do with kids that will keep them excited and happy throughout the day. For under $15 a person, you can step back into history, dig for dinosaur fossils or even feed wild animals.
Wild West City
Take a walk through this small village and discover what life might have been like during the 1880s. Kids can enjoy the variety of excitement and amusement at Wild West City by taking a ride on a pony, a train or a stage coach. You also can play a round of miniature golf or go panning for gold. There also are 22 live shows, including recreations of the Pony Express, the gunfight at O.K. Corral and a bank hold up.

Imagine That
Imagine That is a children's museum offering more than 50 hands-on exhibits for children to learn through play. Kids can play doctor with real doctor gear, pretend to be firemen, police officers or grocery store clerks. They can also learn about dinosaurs and dig for fossils, see what it's like to sit in a real fire truck, airplane and a monster truck or choreograph their own dance routine. The Imagine That children's museum is open daily.

Space Farms Zoo & Museum
Take your kids on a tour through the wonderful world of the wild at Space Farms Zoo & Museum. There are more than 500 different animals to see at the zoo and over 50,000 artifacts in the museum that include farm equipment, antique cars and a variety of early American tools. Space Farms is open daily from the spring through the fall.
