Located about 15 miles north of
Atlanta, Marietta offers the charm of a small town and the conveniences of a big city. At the heart of the town is Marietta Square, a unique and lively gathering place that features a picturesque gazebo, a multi-tiered fountain and a stage for live entertainment. Within walking distance of the Square you can find shopping, dining, entertainment, museums and theaters. Elsewhere, Marietta offers many attractions including Civil War battlefields, museums, golf and parks. Dining opportunities are almost unlimited, including several Italian restaurants from which to choose.
Frankie's Italian Ristorante and Pizza
Offering two locations in Marietta, Frankie's Italian Ristorante and Pizza has been offering traditional Italian cuisine since the early 1990s. Touting itself as a "real New York style restaurant," Frankie's makes everything from scratch using fresh ingredients. The menu includes a wide selection of appetizers, such as calamari, stuffed mushrooms and shrimp scamp. Entrees include a large selection of pasta items, chicken dishes, seafood creations, pizzas and sub sandwiches. Salads, soups, wine and children's selections round out the menu. As of 2010, prices range from $8 to $19 for most entrees including pizza. Frankie's is open seven days a week and also offers a lunch menu and catering.

Vincent's Italian Restaurant
Family-owned and operated since 2004, Vincent's is an affordable family restaurant that offers a variety of Italian specialties and standard fare. A large selection of pasta items includes a choice of any pasta with one of eight different sauces, including meat sauces, pesto and several others. Vincent's also offers traditional pasta dishes such as eggplant parmigiana and lasagna, as well as chicken, veal, seafood and pizza. The children's menu includes Italian and American dishes. Entrees range in price from $6 to $19 as of 2010, and Vincent's also offers Early Bird specials several days a week.

Pasta Bella Italian and American Family Grill
Since 2002, Pasta Bella has been offering Marietta casual and family dining that includes authentic Italian dishes made from scratch. Its specialty dishes include the Tour of Italy, Tour of Milan and Tour of Greece platters for one or two diners. Pasta, veal, chicken and seafood dishes make up its traditional Italian fare. Also offered are steaks, calzones, hot subs, pizzas, gyros and salads. Prices as of 2010 range from $6 to $23, and the menu includes wine and children's selections. Pasta Bella offers over 50 desserts, including a large variety of homemade cakes.

La Famiglia
Located near the historic Marietta Square, La Famiglia is owned and operated by a family from Italy. Its pasta menu includes traditional Italian favorites such as linguine in white or red clam sauce, as well as unique dishes such as penne sauteed in a vodka and cream sauce. Chicken, veal, seafood and baked pasta dishes round out a full menu of homemade and authentic Italian fare. Prices for dinner range from $8 to $18 as of 2010, and La Famiglia is open for dinner seven days a week and for lunch Tuesday through Saturday. La Famiglia also offers a full bar and a private party room.
