Italia Gardens
Founders Albert and Josephine Barone opened the doors for Italia Gardens during the depression in 1931. It claims to be the "first Italian restaurant in the city of Flint, Michigan." Whether you're dining in for Tuesday Lasagna Fest or need catering for your next special event or big party, try Italia Gardens. Spitini, a dish created by Albert Barone in 1931, is only available at Italia Gardens. It's thinly sliced and breaded steak which is pan seared and served on a skewer with onions and a bay leaf. You can get that with spaghetti, fettuccini alfredo or lasagna. Check the website for daily specials.
