Luigi's Restaurant has been a mainstay for Italian food in Akron since 1949. The family-owned location has been the recipient of numerous Akron Beacon Journal awards for dining excellence throughout the years. Visitors can start with a choice of Italian salads or antipasto. Luigi's serves a variety of sandwiches including a meatball sub with homemade meatballs. Italian entrees include pasta with various sauces including mushroom sauce and butter sauce. Dinner selections also include steak and shrimp. The restaurant also offers guests their choice of other Italian specialties including ravioli, lasagna, rigatoni and casserole. In addition, its award winning pizza, served with numerous fresh toppings, should not be overlooked. A catering menu is available.

Dontino's Fine Italian Cuisine
Dontino's Fine Italian Cuisine is a family-owned and operated restaurant that has been serving Akron and its environs since 1930. Burgers and sandwiches including steak, sausage, veal and fish are offered for lunch. Diners craving pasta have an array of sauces that are made fresh daily and include tomato, marinara, meat sauce and white clam sauce. Veal stuffed tortellini and cavatelli with meatballs also is served. Other selections include chicken parmigiana and grilled salmon pomadoro. Dinners are served with fresh Italian breads. Among the range of pizza choices are pizza bruschetta and pizza capriciosa. Be sure to leave room for a side order or two, which include fried cheese ravioli and deep fried calamari. The Spaghetti Warehouse Restaurant
The Spaghetti Warehouse is a nationwide provider of classic Old-World Italian dishes served the American way--large portions. Lunch and dinner are served at its Akron location, which also welcomes your large family or corporate gathering--which it can fully accommodate at its banquet facility. If you can't choose what to start with (appetizers include stuffed mushrooms and and calamari) try the Sicilian Sampler. Fresh salads and soups are offered. Not surprisingly, the Spaghetti Warehouse serves up a variety of pasta dishes, including sausage penne pomodoro and fettuccine alfredo. Each dish is served with sourdough bread and a choice salad or soup. Other entree selections include baked penne, four layer lasagna and manicotti. Visitors can chose from a variety of wines. Be sure to leave room for one of the Warehouse's dessert selections. You have the option of calling ahead and requesting your meal for pick-up as well.
