Pittsburgh, located at the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio rivers, has a mix of ethnic groups. Approximately 16 percent of Pittsburgh's 310,000 residents are of Irish descent, reports City-Data.com, making this the second largest ethnic group in the city. As a result, the city is home to numerous Irish restaurants, which are located near some of Pittsburgh's top attractions.
