The Inner Harbor of Baltimore is a major U.S. seaport that has become a popular tourist destination. It is alive with a kaleidoscope of restaurants, shopping areas, museums, nightclubs and other attractions to delight young and old. Live entertainment, street performers, concerts and more abound. Something is always happening in the Inner Harbor.

The Gallery at Harborplace features more than 120 shops, including Ann Taylor, Brooks Brothers and Banana Republic; 42 restaurants/eateries, such as Phillips Seafood Restaurant and The Cheesecake Factory. There is also live entertainment and special events, as well. It is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.

The Maryland Science Center is a favorite Inner Harbor attraction for children and adults. Visitors can see dinosaur skeletons, learn about the ecosystem of the Chesapeake Bay, observe how the human body works, and interact with live animals. They can also explore the solar system at the museum's expansive planetarium or immerse themselves in the big screen magic of an IMAX film. The Maryland Science Center is open daily (check website for hours as they vary seasonally).

The National Aquarium Baltimore offers an educational and interactive experience for all ages. The aquarium's four-story tank, teeming with marine life, is a real crowd pleaser. The outdoor sea lion attraction is popular, as is the Marine Mammal Pavilion, which houses the aquarium's dolphins. The National Aquarium is open year-round, Monday through Friday (check website for hours, as they change seasonally).

Baltimore has its own World Trade Center located at the Inner Harbor. Offering panoramic views of the city, the World Trade Center features a gift shop and observational deck on the twenty-seventh floor called "Top Of The World." Hours and days of operation vary (check website for details).
