Located between Buffalo and Rochester is Darien,
New York. This small city is home to Darien Lake, a popular theme park
resort that operates between May and October. Darien Lake is home to thrilling rides, its own water park and guest lodging of all types.
Rides
Darien Lake is home to rides for visitors of all ages. It has everything from roller coasters to the kids-only Adventure Island.
Water Park
The Darien Lake water park features water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river and enough places to lounge and tan to satisfy the less adventurous visitor.
Events
Special events are held here throughout the year, including concerts and the annual Fright Fest during the Halloween season.
Lodging
The Lodge on the Lake Hotel is the most popular on-site lodging available. Guests can also stay on the nearby campground or the RV park.
Dining & Shopping
Throughout the resort, there are restaurants, cafes and food stands that sell snacks and drinks. There are various shopping centers that specialize in everything from sunglasses to souvenirs.
