Restaurants in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, are plentiful. For patrons who wish to dine on authentic Indian cuisine, there are three restaurants to choose from. All three restaurants offer reasonably priced menus and a casual dining atmosphere. They all offer a lunch buffet, catering service and a takeout menu. Each restaurant had its own personality as well as its own mark on Indian food.
Taj Palace Restaurant
The Taj Palace Restaurant is located in downtown Harrisburg. The restaurant specializes in North Indian, Tandoori and Mughlai dishes and offers customers both buffet and menu options at affordable prices. In addition to offering a party room, Taj Palace also has a catering service and customized party trays. Taj Palace is open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Passage To India
Passage To India is found in the Holiday Inn Express in Harrisburg. In addition to a 10-course lunch buffet, Passage To India offers a full catering service and will ship food anywhere by way of Greyhound bus. The restaurant's weekday lunch hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner hours from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. On weekends, lunch hours are noon to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Reservations are not needed, but are recommended on weekends.

Aangan Indian Cuisine
The Aangan Indian Cuisine restaurant serves both Indian and Pakistani food. Aangan Indian Cuisine offers an affordable lunch buffet and a dinner menu as well as a kids' menu. The restaurant has a catering service, delivery and takeout options. The weekday lunch hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner hours from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Weekend lunch hours are noon to 2:30 p.m. with dinner hours on Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday dinner hours are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Live music and belly dancers accompany weekend dinners.
