Located on Waikiki
beach in Hawaii, Hula Grill combines a great location with good food. In addition to the native island ambiance, this restaurant has great service. The staff is always friendly yet professional and treats each diner with respect. The food menu ranges from steak to seafood and everything in between. A long list of wine is also available.
Wows and Woes
Yummy does not begin to describe the food at this culinary mecca. The food is served in healthy portions and is always impeccable. This place has great views of the beach. The wait to get a table is a little long, but once you are seated the food comes out pretty quickly.
This restaurant needs to expand its children's menu. There is not much of a selection that most children would like.
Insider Tips
No visit to the Hula Grill would be complete without the mouthwatering pineapple pancakes for breakfast. The Kalua Pork Pot Stickers and Crab and Macadamia Nut Wontons are both to die for, so splurge and have both for dinner.
Author's Most Memorable Moment
My husband and I went to this restaurant for his birthday last year. We were impressed with our waitress. When she found out that we were celebrating she wished him a happy birthday, which was nice. But she took it a step further when she and the manager both came to our table with two complimentary slices of cake. The restaurant staff gave my husband a birthday he will never forget.
Bottom Line
This restaurant is great and worth the money that you spend. Eat up and enjoy.
