New London, Wisconsin, has plenty to offer visitors looking to enjoy the great outdoors. Situated on the Embarrass and Wolf Rivers means boating, rafting, tubing, canoeing and fishing opportunities are right in front of you. There are 900 acres of trails, parks and outdoor recreation in the New London area, including the Mosquito Hill Nature Center, a 430-acre facility with hiking trails, two ponds and a butterfly house. Or visit the Mukwa Wildlife Area, a 1,500-acre marshland that is home to catfish, bass and spawning sturgeon. Visitors to New London won't find any hotels in town, but there are many discount hotels close by.
